Job Title: Business Manager - Wind Energy
Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland
Salary: £65K (Negotiable) + Benefits
An opportunity has arisen for an Experienced Business Manager to Join a globally recognised developer of Wind Energy to lead Operations in Northern Ireland. You will have a proven background in Wind Energy and Business Management and be familiar with all aspects of sourcing, building and developing green field Wind Energy Opportunities.
•To form, mange and direct the NI development team including staff recruitment, development and career planning;
•support the preparation of annual business plans & budgets;
•delivery of the development activities for the Northern Ireland business in line with annual business plans and budgets;
•build and manage relationships with key stakeholders in Northern Ireland
•seek out and deliver green field development opportunities – wind & other RE technologies;
•support the business development team to originate and deliver acquisition opportunities in Northern Ireland
•to oversee the appointment, appoint, management and control of external consultants;
• work closely with Public Affairs and communications team to deliver a coherent PA strategy for the Northern Irish business
•establish clear process around the NI development activity
You will ideally have the following skills and experience:-
•A high calibre individual with significant management experience
•Hands on experience of development in the wind energy business
•Displays strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills and has a track record of delivery
•Excellent team building skills
•Ability to represent our client at a senior level in a wide range of industry, regulatory and political forums
